Donations from TAB have helped MYC provide the basic needs of food, shelter, education, training and life skills for marginalized young people at risk in Swaziland, Africa. From 2006 to 2008, TAB funding focused primarily on building and sustaining Sikhunyana Home, one of MYC's six homes that provides accommodation, food, clothing and medical care for over 150 children. Last year, TAB's donations funded the development of an agricultural sustainability project. Funds were used to purchase chickens, feed and seedlings so that the six homes could benefit from a continued food supply with a varied diet for the children.
In 2011, it's our hope that TAB will continue to provide funds to MYC for this project. Swaziland is a difficult place with an unsupportive monarchy and MYC relies on the generosity of individuals throughout the world. TAB's help is greatly appreciated and vital to children's homes and sustainability projects that support the children orphaned by AIDS in Swaziland.
